Fibretex AG

Profitable for private investors

It has long been common practice in soccer, that very talented players leave their club before the end of the contract period. With high set contracts they are bound to medium terms, which in turn drives the transfer fee at an early (and often predictable) transfer up.

A group of fund managers has during four years examined 1,000 such transfers. "During this time, the value of the analyzed players increased on average by 500 percent", one fund manager was quoted by the Hamburger evening paper.

Now, the traditional Swiss company Fibretex makes it possible for private investors to participate in this lucrative transfer business. Instead of mutual funds, Fibretex offers company involvement in the form of shares. The future development prognosis of the values was calculated by Fibretex conservatively: For 2012, the company estimates an eight to ten percent dividend distribution to the shareholders.

The target group includes top players in different leagues, which have a strong development potential. Many clubs have been hit financially hard and often have to give away their young talents way under market value.

Before Fibretex takes on a commitment, it consults with known experts and creates a clear player profile. Finally, all backed up players should climb into the next higher class with each transfer, every year if possible. The market value of a player can thus increase from 200,000 to 500,000 Euros. This way, in a few years, it is not uncommon for million Euro transfers to be created.

In a successful Fibretex engagement everybody wins: The player, the club and Fibretex AG.
